This week’s Nintendo eShop releases for North America are in, delivering new demos and games for Nintendo Switch and New Nintendo 3DS – as well as plentiful discounts across all platforms.

- Detention, Coconut Island Games – Free
Detention is a unique atmospheric horror game heavily influenced by Taiwanese/East Asian culture, religious elements and mythology. Based on the 1960s Taiwan under martial law, in this 2D atmospheric horror side-scroller, the player control characters who venture into the school beset by hostile supernatural events to uncover stories behind the haunted place. Incorporated the game provided players with unique graphics and gaming experience.

A Case of Distrust is a narrative mystery from 1924 San Francisco. Play as private investigator Phyllis Cadence Malone in this historical 2D adventure game. RYGAR is a video game created by Tecmo in 1986 and originally released for arcades in Japan as Warrior of Argus. It is a scrolling platform game where the player assumes the role as the Legendary Warrior. The main feature of gameplay is using a weapon called the Diskarmor.
