Nintendo eShop Update: 17th November 2016 (North America)

This week’s Nintendo eShop update is in for North America, headlined with a ticket to the Alola region in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

Meanwhile, Excitebike 64 and Wario Land: Shake It arrive on the Wii U Virtual Console service, Wii U adds Exile’s End, Ohayou! Beginner’s Japanese, and Swap Fire, while the free Swapdoodle game is a surprise release on Nintendo 3DS.

Virtual Console (Wii U)

  • Excitebike 64 (Nintendo 64), Nintendo – $9.99

  • Exile’s End (available 22nd November 2016), XSEED Games – $9.99

Exile’s End is a platformer with exploration elements set on a dangerous alien world. The game was developed by one-man indie studio Magnetic Realms with art, cutscenes, and music provided by legends of the 8 and 16-bit eras from Japan. It draws its thematic influence from the science-fiction films and anime of the ‘80s and its gameplay from classic action-adventure titles.

  • Ohayou! Beginner’s Japanese, Finger Gun Games – $4.99

Have you always been interested in learning Japanese? Asuka and Kenji are here to help guide you along the path to learning how to read Japanese Hiragana and Katakana. Use digital flash cards to learn how to both write and how to pronounce each character.
