Nintendo eShop Update: 17th December 2015 (North America)

Minecraft Wii U Edition headlines this week’s Nintendo eShop update for North America, which sees Mojang’s gaming phenomenon now become available on (nearly) every platform.

Capcom’s Mega Man Battle Network 5 and Mega Man Zero 4 join Wii U’s Virtual Console service, with other new releases on the console being Island Flight Simulator and Temple of Yog. Nintendo 3DS sees a quieter week with new HOME Menu themes, and games releasing from Delirium Studios and CIRCLE Entertainment.

Dr. Regal and his cronies from Nebula HQ have returned and raided SciLab. It’s up to Lan and Mega Man to return the stolen PETS to their rightful owners. Game content is the same for Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Colonel and Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Protoman, but NetNavi chips and other items may differ.

Wii U Download Software

  • Island Flight Simulator, Joindots – $7.99

Players will even be able to expand their experience with 16 additional add-on packs available for purchase in the Nintendo eShop at launch. Additionally, only the Wii U console edition features off-TV play. Experience all the adventures you’ve come to expect from creating your own worlds in Minecraft, now on Wii U.

  • Temple of Yog, ChudChud Industries – $5.99

Enter the Temple of Yog and battle your way through two linked dungeons by using the Wii U GamePad controller to peer into and swap between the realms of Light and Shadow. Unlock relics, embark on challenging quests and upgrade four classes in this twin-stick retro roguelike RPG.

  • The Legend of Dark Witch 2, CIRCLE Entertainment – $6.99

Created by indie games company Inside System in 2014, The Legend of Dark Witch 2 is a 2D action story sequel to “The Legend of Dark Witch”. True to its predecessor, Legend of the Dark Witch 2 retains its simple controls and enough challenges to satisfy the completist.
