This week’s Nintendo eShop releases for North America are in, delivering new demos and games for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS – as well as plentiful discounts across all platforms.

Nintendo Switch Games

  • Mega Man 11, Capcom – Free
    To save the day, the Blue Bomber must battle Robot Masters and take their powerful weapons for himself, which now changes the hero’s appearance with added levels of detail. The innovative Double Gear system lets you boost Mega Man’s speed and power for an exciting twist on the satisfying gameplay the series is known for.

Nintendo Switch Games

  • ACA NEOGEO Ninja Commando, Hamster Corporation – $7.99
    Ninja Commando is an action game released by SNK in 1992. Fight to protect history from death merchants planning to bring chaos to the world. Shoot, use Ninja Tricks and Death Blows, and accumulate scrolls to perform Transformations for a variety of attacks. Two-player simultaneous play is also available.
  • Bastion, Supergiant Games – $14.99

  • Danger Mouse: The Danger Games, 9th Impact – $4.99
    In this insane race showdown of epic proportions, you’ll play as the world’s greatest secret agent, Danger Mouse, starring in Quark’s latest reality TV show, The Danger Games. Speed through city streets, battle enemies, and dodge explosions as you struggle for first place! Will you make it to the finish line in one piece?!
  • Defunct, Soedesco – $14.99
    You are a broken robot that accidentally falls out of a giant cargo ship onto a post-human Earth, now inhabited by robots. You have to get back to your ship before it’s too late!
  • Doughlings: Arcade, Hero Concept – $6.99
    Doughlings brings unique gameplay mechanics through its interesting characters and the world while combining together the best that all known Arkanoid games have to offer, polished with a modern look and design.
  • Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk, NIS America – $TBC (available Tuesday 18th September)
    Become the living book, Tractatus de Monstrum, and command a brigade of puppet soldiers as you navigate the twisting passageways of the labyrinth of Refrain. When at your base, prepare for your journey by upgrading your brigade!   • Monkey King: Master of the Clouds, UFO Interactive – $4.99
    A huge Japanese coin-op hit developed by HOT-B in 1989, the game was later renamed Cloud Master when released outside Japan on the Sega Master System. This upgraded release of the original arcade version includes HD ready elements by developer Starfish-SD, the company formed by the original HOT-B development team.
  • Old School Musical, Plug In Digital – $12.99
    What has 50 amazing chiptune tracks, a loony story mode, 32 different chicken types to fight, and takes you on a tour of all your favorite retro games? It’s Old School Musical of course! Tib and Rob are the heroes of a wacky adventure that will teach them where all of the bugs in our favorite games come from.
  • Omvorm, 4MB Interactive – $7.49 (available Tuesday 18th September)
    Omvorm is a fast paced shape shifting puzzle game that requires quick reactions and calmness under pressure. Line yourself up in the correct lane and transform into the oncoming “vorm”. The quicker you are, the more points you score. As the Vormwall speed increases, so does the challenge.
  • Scribblenauts Mega Pack, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment – $39.99 (available Tuesday 18th September)
    Get the best of Scribblenauts with Scribblenauts Mega Pack! Two classic games in Scribblenauts Unlimited and Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure with all-new content to explore.
  • Senran Kagura Reflexions, XSEED Games – $9.99
    Can you feel it? The beating of her heart… In a classroom after school, learn the ways of Reflexology by syncing with her heart and body. Senran Kagura combines with HD Rumble on the Nintendo Switch!
  • Shadow Fight 2, Nekki – $14.99
    Shadow Fight 2 is a representative of a popular fighting series that won a place in gamers’ hearts around the globe. It’s love letter to all martial arts games and fantasy sci-fi genre.
  • Siegecraft Commander, Level 77 – $19.99 (available Wednesday 19th September)
    Play through the Knight campaign as you battle against the tribal Lizardmen or enjoy the groundbreaking PvP combat system that will deliver fast-paced real-time strategy action or tactical turn-based gameplay. Multiplayer allows either game mode, while single-player focuses entirely on real-time strategic gameplay.
  • Slice, Dice & Rice, PlayWay – $TBC
    Slice Dice & Rice is an indie fighting game with no health bars. Inspired by Bushido Blade, it revolves around the idea of finding an opening in opponents defense and ending the round with a single, clean hit. Gone are the tedious hit points – each scratch impairs your movement, every wound might be your last.
  • Super Dungeon Tactics, Underbite Games – $19.99
    Super Dungeon Tactics is a classic turn-based game featuring exciting, new gameplay mechanics. Along with traditional RPG characters making you feel right at home, the dynamic gameplay will keep you on your toes.
