This week’s Nintendo eShop releases for North America are in, delivering new demos and games for Nintendo Switch, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS – as well as plentiful discounts across all platforms.

Nintendo Switch Demos

  • Aegis Defenders, Humble Bundle – Free
    Explore, build, & defend in this unique mashup of action-platformer and tower defence strategy. You play as a team of Ruinhunters searching for the one thing that can save their village – a legendary weapon known as Aegis.
  • Midnight Deluxe, Ratalaika Games – Free (available Friday 4th May)
    In this golf-like game with a perpetual darkness setting, your task is to guide a little square-shaped fairy, named Midnight. Use your controller or touch-screen controls, to launch Midnight into the night sky, but watch out! The world of Midnight is a dangerous one thanks to the likes of spikes, circular saws and plenty of other dangerous objects and even if you do manage to get Midnight into the safe zone, to advance to the next level, there’s the added challenge of trying to complete each level in the least amount of shots as possible to get all three Stars.
  • Portal Knights, 505 Games – Free (available Monday 7th May)
    Craft your adventure. Forge your hero. Become the ultimate Portal Knight. Leave the familiar world behind and step into the fantastic unknown with Portal Knights, a cooperative 3D sandbox action-RPG. Level up your character and craft powerful gear to defeat your enemies in real-time tactical combat. Explore dozens of randomly-generated islands and restore peace to a world torn apart by The Fracture.

Nintendo Switch Games

  • Animal Super Squad, DoubleMoose – $9.99
    Animal Super Squad is a physics-based adventure game that lets you play as your favorite animal. Speed through a world full of dangers and bananas. Create your own levels, share them with the community, or forget all that nonsense and just play other people’s stuff.
  • Cast of the Seven Godsends, Merge Games –
    Cast of the Seven Godsends harks back to the days when classic 2D, run ’n gun, action-shooter games ruled the arcades. Four levels of difficulty, six worlds to conquer, twelve mid and end-of-level bosses, seven god-like armour sets, five basic weapons and thirty-five magic combat spells.
  • Don’t Die, Mr Robot!, Digerati – $8.99
    Don’t Die, Mr. Robot! DX is a remixed version of the much-loved arcade bullet-hell avoid ’em up, completely remastered and rejuvenated for Nintendo Switch. Deep in the electro-abyss lives a little robot who loves to eat exploding fruit. He also likes staying alive. That’s where you come in… Get the fruit. Avoid the enemies. Try not to die. (Spoilers: you will die).
  • Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Nintendo – $59.99 (available Friday 4th May)

  • Japanese Mah-jongg, ITL – $5
    You can enjoy Mah-jongg, one of major table games easily with Japanese Mah-jongg. Two Player mode is enjoying competition with your friend by hiding your hand with single device. “How to Play”, “Hands list” and “Glossary” are also available for Mah-jongg beginners.
  • Johnny Turbo’s Arcade: Sly Spy, FTE Games – $6.99
    It is the year 199X, Secret Agent Sly must protect the U.S. from a nuclear missile attack from the terrorist organization CWD (Council for World Domination). Play an arcade classic! Secret Agent: Use your jetpack and the golden gun and save the world from Evil.
  • Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Bandai Namco Entertainment –
    Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm allows players to battle in full 3D across massive environments.     Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is a tour de force of Naruto thrills and spills. Impressively faithful to the universe of the anime, the game takes players through the Naruto Shippuden story arc with new battle systems enhancing the gameplay. Players must choose the right companions to fight alongside and together unleash explosive Team Special Techniques to lay waste to opponents.
  • Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, Bandai Namco Entertainment –
    The 4th Great Ninja War continues. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst has been given a thorough overhaul for its Full Burst comeback! Not least among the wealth of enhancements is the addition of the feverishly anticipated chapter in which Sasuke and Itachi take on Kabuto in a nail-biting confrontation.
  • Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy, Bandai Namco Entertainment –
    The ultimate ninja storm series for Nintendo Switch. All three entries in the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series are coming to the Nintendo Switch in a single package. Start with Naruto’s origins in Ultimate Ninja Storm, relive Shippuden and his ferocious battles with Akatsuki in Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, and experience the beginning of the Great Ninja War in Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, all in one game. In addition, each game comes packed with past DLC, including missions, outfits, episodes, and more.
