This week’s Nintendo eShop releases for North America are in, delivering new games and add-on content for Nintendo Switch – as well as plentiful discounts across all platforms.

Nintendo Switch Demos

  • Brawlout, Angry Mob Games – Free
    Brawlout packs a punch with couch and online play modes, blending platform fighter mechanics and traditional fighting game play into a stylish and fluid battle royale. Rather than slow-paced defensive battles, Brawlout goes all-out with the lightning-fast aerobatics which platform fighters are famous for.

  • Arcade Archives Buta san, Hamster Corporation – $7.99
    Buta san is an action game that was released from JALECO in 1987. Players try to survive while throwing time bombs at each other. Can you survive the gauntlet of 100 fellow pigs to become the champion Pig? In this title, two players can play together to help or hamper each other.
  • Back in 1995, Ratalaika Games – $9.99 (available Friday 24th May)
    A throwback to the survival horror and mystery games of the mid-90’s 32-bit generation, Back in 1995 faithfully re-creates everything from this all-but-forgotten era of games.   • Battle Worlds: Kronos, THQ Nordic – $29.99 (available Tuesday 28th May)
    Battle Worlds: Kronos is a turn-based strategy game deeply rooted in the hexagonal tradition of the genre. The planet is once again torn by war, for the succession of a new emperor. Its destiny is in your hands!
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, 505 Games – $14.99 (available Tuesday 28th May)
    Play the award-winning adventure with a new two-player mode for the Nintendo Switch system. Guide two brothers on an epic fairytale journey from Swedish film director Josef Fares.   • Chime Sharp, Chilled Mouse – $9.99 (available Tuesday 28th May)

  • Guilty Gear, Arc System Works – $9.99

    The Sword Art Online series finally arrives on Nintendo Switch. The year is 2026. A new VRMMORPG called “Sword Art: Origin” is suddenly unveiled to the world.
