This week’s Nintendo eShop releases for Europe are in, delivering new demos and games for Nintendo Switch as well as plenty of discounts across all platforms.

Nintendo Switch Demos

  • Anime Studio Story, Kairosoft: Produce your own hit anime starring a character of your making! Select a face, body, and presto! Your completed hero can then explode onto the scene of your show, wowing watchers to rule the rankings!
  • Hypnospace Outlaw, No More Robots: Hypnospace Outlaw is a ’90s internet simulator in which you scour Hypnospace’s wide variety of weird and wonderful websites to hunt down wrongdoers, while also keeping an eye on your inbox, avoiding viruses and adware, and downloading a plethora of apps that may or may not be useful.
  • THE Number Puzzle, D3Publisher: In THE Number Puzzle you follow easy rules to fill in a grid with the numbers 1-9. 500 puzzles in all! With 4 sets of rules and 4 difficulties, you’ll never get tired of playing.

Nintendo Switch Games

  • 4×4 Dirt Track, BoomBit Games (available Friday 21st August): Get ready to go off the beaten path and explore the unknown of the best Off Road Driving Tracks! Choose from a variety of Epic 4×4 Trucks, Buggies, SUVs & Pickups and put them through their paces!
  • A Short Hike, Adamgryu: Hike, climb and soar through the peaceful mountainside landscapes of Hawk Peak Provincial Park.
  • Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue, PQube (available Friday 21st August): Welcome to a world where people fly freely through the power of anti-gravity shoes. Become a coach for players who race in the sky and make the acquaintance of four charismatic girls. Follow their adventures as you all grow closer in this emotional story of hope, love and sportsmanship.
  • Cecconoid, Thalamus Digital: Cecconoid is an 8-bit inspired, flick-screen, twin-stick-shooter, set in an alternate dimension where the pixels are still chunky, and the bad guys are black and white. Except for their dangly red bits…
  • Chinese Parents, Coconut Island Games: From birth to adult, explore the relationship between children and parents. This is probably the most heart-warming simulation game you have ever played.
  • Digerati Presents: The Dungeon Crawl Vol. 1, Digerati: Four adventure-filled worlds in one unmissable bundle: Fall of Light: Darkest Edition, Reverse Crawl, Skelly Selest and Unexplored: Unlocked Edition.
  • Even the Ocean, Ratalaika Games (available Friday 21st August): A lowly power plant technician for Whiteforge City, Aliph, finds her world turned upside-down after a routine maintenance trip goes awry. Now, working directly with Mayor Biggs to face an unknown menace, Aliph must navigate her newfound power and influence to save the city.
  • Evergate, PQube: Wield your Soulflame, unleash extraordinary powers, and dive into the touching story of two kindred spirits. Guide the child-like soul Ki on a journey through the beautiful and haunting Afterlife in this unique 2D puzzle platformer.
  • FuzzBall, Shadow Lair Games: Play as one of six FuzzBalls, these small animal plush toys roll into balls of fluff to move around and knock their enemies off a selection of seven unique stages.
  • Gleamlight, D3Publisher: Welcome to Gleamlight, a 2D action game that will take you on an adventure traversing a beautiful, transient world. Immerse yourself amid stained-glass artistry while tracing the world’s mysterious unspoken story. What will you, as Gleam, sense and feel through your travels across this fearsome world of glass?
  • Helheim Hassle, Perfectly Paranormal: From the same universe (and set on the same Tuesday in fact) as previous hit Manual Samuel, comes this macabre adventure where you play as Bjørn, a pacifist Viking who hates the idea of dying and going to Valhalla… who then ends up dying and getting taken to Valhalla.
  • INMOST, Chucklefish (available Friday 21st August): Something is lurking in the shadows. A Knight sworn to the forces of darkness. A creature which feeds on pain. A young girl all alone. One interconnecting tale of suffering, sacrifice and the family in the middle of it all. INMOST is an atmospheric, story-driven puzzle platformer, following three playable characters within one dark, interconnecting story.   • Kids: Farm Coloring, No Gravity Games: Play with livestock! Play with colours! Unleash your creativity to make farming animals of your dream!
  • Kwaidan: Azuma Manor Story, Rainy Frog: Explore an old Japanese manor rigged with traps & puzzles and overrun with Yoki, combining 3D horror action with point-click adventure.
  • Manifold Garden, William Chyr Studio: Rediscover gravity and explore a beautiful Escher-esque world of impossible architecture. Geometry repeats infinitely in every direction, and falling down leads you back to where you started.
  • Norman’s Great Illusion, Sometimes You: Have you ever wondered why, individually good and peace-loving citizens, merging into society, allow the coming to power of forces that have diametrically opposed their principles and goals?
  • One Line Coloring, MythicOwl (available Friday 21st August): One Line Coloring is a vibrant puzzle game about creating lively shapes that compose and fold into beautiful, themed dioramas. One Line Coloring offers a relaxing, creative experience built around lines that uncover charming objects. 
  • Paratopic, Baltoro Games (available Friday 21st August): You got caught smuggling VHS tapes across the border, and now there’s hell to pay. You want to find an elusive rare bird in the forest and snap its picture. You have to kill a man in the back room of a shady diner.
  • Parking Madness, 11Sheep: Parking Madness is a challenging and addictive puzzle game. Help get your car out of many difficult parking situations. Try to finish the game in as little moves as possible. You need to get your car out the Exit gate.
  • Peaky Blinders: Mastermind, Curve Digital: Peaky Blinders: Mastermind is a puzzle-adventure game, based on the award-winning BBC and Netflix TV show. Set right before the events of Season One, Peaky Blinders: Mastermind lets you join the Shelby family’s criminal gang.
  • PGA Tour 2K21, Take Two Interactive: Play against the pros. Play with your crew. In PGA Tour 2K21, you can play by the rules or create your own!
  • Poker Hands, QUByte Interactive: A relaxing puzzle game where you combine neighbouring cards to form poker hands. Use your arrow keys to move the cards. When two cards touch, they merge into one!
  • Raji: An Ancient Epic, Super.com: Raji: An Ancient Epic is an action-adventure game set in ancient India. A young girl named Raji has been chosen by the gods to stand against the demonic invasion of the human realm.

  • Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, Adult Swim Games (available Friday 21st August): Become Samurai Jack, the greatest warrior across time. Journey through time to finally stop Aku’s evil reign in this new adventure told by the creators of Samurai Jack.
  • Spiritfarer, Thunder Lotus Games: You play Stella, ferrymaster to the deceased, a Spiritfarer. Build a boat to explore the world, then befriend and care for spirits before finally releasing them into the afterlife. Farm, mine, fish, harvest, cook, and craft your way across mystical seas. 
  • Takeshi and Hiroshi, Oink Games: Takeshi and Hiroshi combines the two worlds of puppet animation and Role Playing Game. It tells the story of two brothers and their daily life. The 14-year-old Takeshi, a game designer to-be, is creating a game for his weak little brother Hiroshi who always wants to play the next chapter of the game as soon as possible.
  • The Eternal Castle [REMASTERED], TFL Studios: Through detailed research and hard work, the production team tried to expand the experience while keeping the same ‘feel’ and emotional flow of the original masterpiece from 1987.
