Those currently trying to access the Nintendo eShop will discover that the digital store is down, as Nintendo perform scheduled maintenance on the service.
That will see the service affected on both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS between 9pm BST on Tuesday 5th July until 3am BST on Wednesday 6th July 2016. For those in North America that maintenance window runs between the same times, 1pm – 7pm PT on Tuesday 5th July.
“All network services are unavailable at this time due to server maintenance,” Nintendo confirmed. “Please wait until the maintenance is over. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
