Independent developers will be openly able to pitch their latest projects to Nintendo later this year, GamesIndustry International details.

The annual GameHorizon Conference, now expanded with an Investment Summit, will take place on Thursday 26th September at London’s Earl’s Court as part of this year’s Eurogamer Expo.

It continues Nintendo’s “big move” to attract creativity to the Wii U, through the newly revealed Nintendo Web Framework tool set.

“Nintendo will attend the GameHorizon Investment Summit and we are interested to meet with the independent developers that want to propose original projects we can consider partnering with,” a Nintendo spokesperson explained.

“We look forward to being surprised by the creativity and talent at the GameHorizon Investment Summit.”
