We knew that Nintendo were to talk far more about Super Mario Odyssey as part of their E3 2017 plans,
After transporting attendees to Hyrule at E3 2016 to tie in with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, this year’s booth has seen Nintendo of America construct New Donk City.
Wario64 has shared some quick snaps taken by someone helping out as Nintendo continues to set up their booth, revealing the Super Mario Odyssey setting in the background. Within those photos, we can see New Donk City and the Crazy Cap store that is believed to play an important role in the Nintendo Switch exclusive.
The location, which has been inspired by New York City, will play a key part in Mario’s next adventure, which sees the moustachioed plumber running past humans, clambering up skyscrapers and bouncing on taxi cabs.
Super Mario Odyssey will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch in 2017.
