It’s a remarkably short Nintendo Download list for North America this week, with only two new Virtual Console arrivals.
They are Tecmo Koei’s Mighty Bomb Jack and Konami’s Life Force, on Wii U and 3DS respectively, with Fractured Soul and Shin Megami Tensei IV receiving discounts as the latest special offers available through the Nintendo eShop.

* Fractured Soul, Endgame Studios – $5.99
Fractured Soul takes the classic platformers of the ’80s and doubles the action, with game play across both screens of the Nintendo 3DS system. Since its release, Fractured Soul has won the hearts of critics around the world. Starting today, download Fractured Soul from the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS for $5.99 until 9am PT on February 6th.
* Shin Megami Tensei IV, ATLUS – $29.99
Let ATLUS treat you to another sale in 2014. Shin Megami Tensei IV is $29.99 from January 27th until February 3rd in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS.
Virtual Console (Wii U)
* Mighty Bomb Jack, Tecmo Koei – $4.99
The hero of the game, Jack, must make his way through 16 levels of a pyramid in order to defeat the demon Belzebut and rescue the royal Pamera family. Navigate through action zones and Royal Palace rooms, discovering treasure chests along the way that hold money bags and useful power-ups.
Virtual Console (3DS)
* Life Force, Konami – $4.99
Blast your way through six stages of intense action, alternating between horizontal- and vertical-scrolling environments, and take on wave after wave of enemies.
