Nintendo Download: 26th February 2015 (North America)

Nintendo of America have shared this week’s Nintendo Download, delivering plenty of jungle hijinks as the Virtual Console service welcomes the Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Land series.

GravBlocks+ brings a match-three puzzler to Wii U, whereas 3DS owners are tasked with defending Earth in VD-Dev’s IronFall Invasion and Curve Digital’s Titan Attacks!

Donkey Kong Country Special Offer
Buy one or more participating Donkey Kong games for the Virtual Console service on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U and get 30 percent off your Nintendo eShop purchase of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Wii U) and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D (Nintendo 3DS). This offer lasts until 3rd March 2015. GravBlocks+ is a new and different take on the traditional match-three style puzzle game. Rather than building combos the old fashioned way, the gameplay is designed around strategic planning and changing gravity and earn Score Multipliers. However, it’s not as easy as it sounds! The walls are filled with Destruction Hazards, and dropping blocks into those Hazards instantly resets the Score Multiplier. Using a Wild Block closes the Hazards making gravity changes safer, but players need to plan well for these moments!
