Within yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, global president Satoru Iwata provided further teases regarding the narrative within The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

Pointing toward the game’s logo, he revealed that it represents one of its key plot points of the Nintendo 3DS exclusive in which Link will adventure across two worlds.

In one world, the iconic Triforce that we are all familiar with exists, whereas a shadowy Triforce in the logo suggests the existence of another within a darkened world away from where Link lives – the young hero required to turn into a painting to move between the two. Iwata also revealed that the game is set many years after Ganon was sealed within A Link to the Past.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will launch across Europe and North America in November.
