Nintendo has confirmed the times at which the Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 presentation will broadcast on Wednesday 2 April 2025.
You will be able to tune in to watch the Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST / 3pm CEST, with no word yet as to how long the presentation will last.
Nintendo Switch 2 was officially revealed to the world last month, welcomingly ending weeks of rumours, purported leaks and speculation about the successor to its portable home console.
Its short reveal video showcasing the console’s design, teased a new Mario Kart game and reiterated that the hardware will be backwards compatible with the original portable home console.
The company has further clarified that Nintendo Switch 2 “plays both physical and digital Nintendo Switch games.” However, it has warned that “certain Nintendo Switch games may not be supported on or fully compatible with Nintendo Switch 2.”
Nintendo Switch 2 will be released worldwide in 2025, with a launch date yet to be confirmed.
