Nintendo has continued to outline its plans for E3 2019, bolstering their presence with a Nintendo Direct presentation and Nintendo Treehouse: Live streams.

This comes after news about the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 and Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 tournaments, which will take place the weekend before the trade show opens.

The Nintendo Direct presentation will broadcast at 9am PT (5pm BST/6pm CEST) on Tuesday 11th June, “focuses entirely on software,” and will cover Nintendo Switch games that are “scheduled to launch in 2019.”

After the presentation, the daily Nintendo Treehouse: Live streams will start. As before, this will feature live gameplay and in-depth analysis of games that will be shown at E3 2019.

We know games such as Super Mario Maker 2, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, Astral Chain, Animal Crossing, Daemon X Machina, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening are all headed to the portable home console this year.

“We’re starting with some heated competitions and delivering new content the whole week,” said Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser. “Whether people are attending the show in person or watching from home, our goal is to provide them with the best possible Nintendo experience.”

E3 2019 will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center between Tuesday 11th – Thursday 13th June 2019.
