Soon set to launch their digital download initiative for Nintendo 3DS, the company has shared three methods in which such opportunities will be made available to consumers.
You can either download the game directly from the Nintendo eShop, purchase a code from an online retailer which may then be redeemed, or choosing to buy a physical card from a retailer which contains a redeemable code.
If you opt for the redeemable codes, in both cases you will have a period of 150 days following purchase to ensure that the download is completed.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be the first game to be available digitally, available across Europe on August 17th and North America on August 19th.
