Nintendo will release the Wii U throughout North America, Japan, Europe and Australia during the holiday season, Bloomberg Japan report.
This more specific time frame was stated by company CEO Satoru Iwata during an earnings conference that was held in Osaka earlier today.
Nintendo previously reiterated that the Wii U would launch at some point between E3 2012 in June and the end of the year.
Iwata also touched upon the Nintendo 3DS, explaining that plans were in place to continually release major titles for the handheld. Through this, and additional measures, Nintendo hopes that during the next fiscal term they will be able to return to profitability.
