Accompanying the news that the Nintendo Switch has become the fastest-selling home video game system of all time in the United States, Nintendo of America president and COO Reggie Fils-Aime has teased “fun new surprises in 2018 and beyond” for the plucky portable home console.

That won’t come from Nintendo alone either, in that they have added that major third-party publishers such as EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Capcom, SEGA, Take-Two Interactive, and Bethesda will continue to support Nintendo Switch.

“This year, Nintendo Switch owners can look forward to Nintendo-published games like Kirby Star Allies, Bayonetta, Bayonetta 2 and a new game starring Yoshi,” Nintendo of America wrote in the press release.

“Fans can also expect continued support from major publishers such as EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Capcom, SEGA, Take 2 and Bethesda, plus a growing catalog of quality content from indie developers.”

We know about several games that are on the way from third-party publishers, such as Fe that will be published on the EA Originals label, Wolfenstein II: The New Order from Bethesda, Valkyria Chronicles 4 from SEGA, Capcom’s Mega Man 11, or Ubisoft’s new toys-to-life venture, Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
