Nintendo commercial looks to differentiate Wii U from Wii


Whilst you’d hope that everyone would understand the difference between the Wii U and the Wii a year after the launch, it seems Nintendo still have some educating to do.

That’s exactly what this new commercial, “The Pitch,” is targeting, seeing a group of kids task themselves with planning how to convince their parents to buy them the new console for Christmas.

“But we already have a Wii, sweetykins!” is their predicted response from their Mum, to which they retort that “the Wii U is a total upgrade” with key titles including Super Mario 3D World, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, and Rayman Legends.

“The games we love to play are on Wii U this holiday,” it boisterously closes, with the kids even chipping in that the new Mario & Luigi Deluxe Set secures you two free games!
