We learned back in April from Japanese magazine Famitsu that Nintendo and Koei Tecmo were collaborating to bring Fatal Frame to Wii U.
We will shortly learn more, with Nintendo announcing that they will broadcast a presentation through NicoNico that will involve Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, Koei Tecmo’s Keisuke Kikuchi, Kadowkawa Shoten CEO Shinichiro Inoue, and movie director Mari Asato among others.
As can be expected from the mixture of participants, this will broadly discuss plans for a Wii U title, movie, and novel as a new transmedia opportunity. While no western localisation plans have yet been announced, it will allow us a glimpse at what the future has in store for the franchise.
