As part of his participation in the conversation surrounding E3 2015, Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata has shared that he is aware that there was notable disappointment surrounding today’s Nintendo Digital Event.

“Thank you for watching. We take opinions of this year’s Digital Event seriously and will work to better meet your expectations,” Iwata wrote on Twitter.

Nintendo’s presentation was full of solid announcements and plenty of gameplay footage to enjoy, but has drawn criticism for failing to deliver a sucker punch to send everyone’s tongues wagging after it came to a close.

(Still, at least the puppets were hilarious!)
