Nintendo announce Xenoblade Chronicles release date and pre-order bundle

Nintendo have today announced that Xenoblade Chronicles is due to release for Wii across Europe on September 2nd, and have unveiled an exclusive pre-order bundle for the title.

The pre-order bundle, due to be available from GAME and Gamestation, will consist of the critically acclaimed game, reversible cover artwork chosen by fans in a recent online poll, a red Classic Controller Pro and three exclusive posters that are electronically signed by Monolith Software founder, Tetsuya Takahashi.

Xenoblade Chronicles brings to life a universe that is begun by the war of two titans – Bionis and Mechonis. Aeons later, their lifeless remain and the two main races that dwell upon them, the Mechon (a race of robots) and the Homs (humans), themselves become locked in a battle to control the world. Players will find themselves joining the battle for Bionis to repel the Mechon invasion whilst uncovering the secrets of a mystical sword called the Monado.

You’ll freely traverse the landscapes of Bionis and Mechonis as you engage in over 100 hours of immersive gameplay, working your way through numerous quests and battling in real-time combat.

Xenoblade Chronicles is due to release across Europe exclusively for Wii on September 2nd.
