It has been revealed that Mobiclip was acquired by Nintendo late last year as a subsidiary company.
The video codec specialist has previously worked with Nintendo on both the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo 3DS, and is currently advertising for a console software engineer with knowledge of Japanese culture.
The acquisition is believed to have been made in October, yet the news was only recently made official following the company stating as such on their website.
