Nintendo 3DS XL pre-order pricing round-up

After announcing the Nintendo 3DS XL last Friday, all eyes turned to retail as the pricing war began.

GameStop are currently leading with the cheapest price at £169.97, with the average price falling at £179.99.

The revised handheld, due to launch across Europe on July 28th, features 90 per cent larger screens and a 4GB SD Card, and will be available in Silver + Black, Red + Black and Blue + Black colour variants.

Do remember, however, that the Nintendo 3DS XL doesn’t include an AC Adaptor, so you will have to purchase one separately if you don’t currently own one from a previous Nintendo DS handheld.

At the time of writing, pricing is as follows:
* Amazon UK – £179.99
* GAME – £179.99
* GameStop – £169.97
* Play.com – £179.99
* ShopTo – £179.86
* Zavvi – £179.99
