During their latest Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata has detailed the expected battery life of the newly-unveiled Nintendo 3DS XL.
When playing Nintendo 3DS software, the battery will last between 3.5-6.5 hours dependent on system settings (including factors such as brightness, volume and Wi-Fi connectivity), with Nintendo DS software lasting between 6-10 hours.
In contrast, the original model saw the battery last between 3-5 hours when Nintendo 3DS software was in use, and 5-8 hours with Nintendo DS software.
So, a noticeable improvement then! Will you be picking one up?
