Nintendo believe that they have all the necessary products to ensure that the Nintendo 3DS will have a strong line-up in Q4 2011, with titles such as Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Resident Evil: Revelations and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D.
“It is an amazing line-up for Christmas,” James Honeywell, Nintendo UK and Ireland marketing manager, explained. “All our retail partners have been to see it, and they’ve been equally impressed and quite buoyed by the potential for Christmas. We have all the tools we could possibly need to have the best Christmas we could possibly have. It’s difficult times out there and to have a line-up like this gives people energy as we move towards Christmas.”
Honeywell continued, “Nintendo always has a big role to play [in the market]. Most of the expansion we’ve seen in recent years has come from Wii and DS. We’ve seen loads of new consumers coming in and buying huge amounts of software. We see that happening again thanks to our line-up. It’s one of the strongest line-ups we’ve had at peak season.”

Resi and MGS are out in 2012, is this rep a fool or letting slip details?
I’m not sure, although if they aren’t released before Christmas then I would imagine they’d be released within early 2012. Still a perfect opportunity for plenty of consumers to pick up a Nintendo 3DS and have software to look forward to 🙂
