Nintendo of Europe have today announced that the latest system update for the Nintendo 3DS is due to go live in Europe on June 7th.

Whilst details in regards to content still remain light, the system update is confirmed to bring a host of new features including an Internet browser and the Nintendo eShop, providing the opportunity to purchase downloadable content.

Such a date is later than the previously planned ‘late May’ release stated by the company, and, more interestingly, coincides with Nintendo’s E3 Press Conference. Could there be a surprise in-store?
