Nintendo 3DS System Update 9.9.0-26 now available

Another Nintendo 3DS system update has been pushed live, delivering improvements to system stability, system security and user experience enhancements.

Numbered Version 9.9.0-26, Nintendo’s official information shares: “Further improvements to overall system stability, system security, and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”

At first glance this appears to be only an incremental improvement over June’s 9.8.0-25 and April’s 9.7.0-25, but a notable addition to the description is “system security.”

I’m not aware of any recent vulnerabilities, but Nintendo have clearly worked fast to address them. Who are we to deny ourselves more stability, though.
