It was the Wii U’s turn earlier in the week, but today Nintendo have pushed live a system update for 3DS.
Sadly there isn’t anything to be excited about, simply delivering the usual system stability and user experience enhancements that are regularly mentioned within patch notes.

Main changes for version 8.1.0-18U
Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.
