Nintendo 3DS sales more than double

Sales of the Nintendo 3DS were more than doubled in August, due to the price drop towards the beginning of the month.

Enterbrain have stated that the handheld was able to net just over 384,000 units throughout the month, which is the nearly three times as many as that sold in July.

This allowed it to record its highest weekly sales since its February 26th launch. This latest 384,000 August sales figure is the second highest, behind March’s 430,000.
