The Nintendo 3DS has ended Microsoft’s 28 consecutive month grasp on leading the monthly hardware chart for North America with their Xbox 360.
Whilst the company shared the opposite, stating it had “sold more than any other console in the US for the 29th consecutive month,” such statement would only be true if Nintendo’s resurgent handheld wasn’t included.
Whilst the NPD have described May as being “a slow month overall, Nintendo saw similar success with Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon place third and fifth within the software chart respectively.
