Nintendo 3DS & 2DS Made for Play Tour 2014 trekking across UK this summer

Those attending key events across the UK this summer will also be able to enjoy partaking in activities at the newly announced Nintendo 3DS & 2DS Made for Play Tour 2014.

This will visit five cities across the country, inviting families to partake in a Nintendo extravaganza that will allow them to try 3DS games, enjoy activities, and have their photo taken with Mario, Luigi and Pikachu.

In a dedicated Mario section, players can climb Bowser’s Castle , try New Super Mario Bros. 2 in Mario’s Den, race for glory on Mario Kart 7, and see if they can leap as high as Mario. Whereas a Pokémon area allows visitors to dive into a Poké Ball pit where they can discover buried surprises. Fans can watch Pokémon TV episodes, play Pokémon X & Y, and learn about Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire which are launching on November 28th. Other activities include drawing in Pokémon Art Academy, of which the best pictures will be printed and displayed in a special gallery, while visitors can collect a free sun visor and Pokémon TCG: XY special sample pack while they last.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Yoshi’s New Island, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Mario Golf: World Tour, and Tomodachi Life are also playable, while a treasure hunt will see you searching across the stand for hidden Nintendo and Pokémon characters to win prizes. The Parent’s Island will also allow mums and dads to learn about the family-friendly games that Nintendo have.

The Nintendo 3DS & 2DS Made for Play Tour 2014 will be at the following events:
* The Sunderland Air Show, Sunderland: 25th – 27th July 2014
* CarFest North, Oulton Park, Cheshire: 1st – 3rd August 2014
* Bristol Balloon Fiesta, Bristol: 7th – 10th August 2014
* Lollibop, Hatfield: 15th – 17th August 2014
* Bournemouth Air Festival, Bournemouth: 28th – 31st August 2014
