Koei Tecmo has announced that they have released a new software update for Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon, that sees Gust’s action RPG now on version 1.0.1.
This, specifically, removes the time limit during boss battles, as well as no longer seeing players be met with the game over screen due to Moon Phase’s progression in a second or subsequent playthrough.
Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon centres on a knight protector called Alushe Anatoria and her two childhood friends – Liliana Selphin, a kind-hearted priestess, and Runhenheid Ariarod, a holy knight of the Lourdes Order.
While guarding Liliana, Alushe is ambushed and killed only to later awaken as an artificial half-demon at the hands of the New Curia – a religious organisation with dark ties. Now finding herself in the company of unlikely allies with their own past and agenda, Alushe’s desire to save Liliana gives the strength necessary to scatter the shadows that shroud the world, as well as the motivation to uncover the shocking truth behind the mysterious Queen of the Moon.

- The time limit during boss battles has been removed.
- During a second or subsequent play through, players no longer receive a game over due to the progression of the Moon Phase (from a limited number of days passing).
