Nicolas Wegnez has been appointed general manager at Nintendo UK, replacing Simon Kemp who left earlier this month to pursue new career opportunities.
MCV reports that Wegnez has worked at Nintendo for more than 20 years, most recently as marketing and PR director at Nintendo Iberica where he looked after the Spanish and Portuguese markets.
He becomes the latest in a string of new hires, after Matthias Hempfling and Kalpesh Tailor joined the company from Nintendo of Europe – as marketing and PR director and head of communications, respectively.
