GameMill Entertainment and Nickelodeon have revealed that their action RPG Nicktoons and The Dice of Destiny is coming to Nintendo Switch.
From developers Fair Play Labs and Petit Fabrik, you will have the chance to adventure across Nickelodeon-inspired fantasy lands on a grand quest that takes its inspiration from tabletop RPGs.
Whether in solo play or local co-op for up to four players, you muse slash, bash, cast spells and strategise to overcome enemies in fluid, fast-paced action RPG combat with the chance to upgrade your weapons and master new abilities.
The game’s reveal trailer has teased some of the mighty heroes from the Nickelodeon universe that you can play as on your adventure, with SpongeBob SquarePants revealed as the first. He can attack from afar with a Bubble Blast, restore health using a Pretty Patty, and transform into a Goofy Goober to deal massive damage.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Play as Legendary Nickelodeon Characters – Fantasy Style: Suit up as a selection of Nickelodeon characters, each reimagined into classic RPG character classes from Spellcaster and Wizard, to Barbarian, Knight, and more. Every hero comes with their own unique powers and weapons.

Nicktoons and The Dice of Destiny will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Fall 2025.
