It sounds like Legendary Pokémon are coming to Pokémon GO this summer after Niantic’s global marketing lead Archit Bhargava teased the news at the 21st Annual Webby Awards.

The location-based game has taken the world by storm and won the Webby Award for Best Game, the Webby People’s Voice Award for Best Use of GPS or Location Technology and the Webby People’s Voice Award for Best Experiential & Innovation (Mobile Sites & Apps).

When Bhargava stepped up to accept the awards, he simply shared: “This summer will be legendary.”

Articuno “had erroneously been granted to some Trainers” soon after Pokémon GO‘s release, before the developer soon recovered them.

Players have since been unable to complete the Generation I Pokédex, with Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo and Mew remaining unobtainable.
