With days left to go until E3 2019 officially starts, a security flaw has been discovered on Bandai Namco Entertainment’s website that has leaked the publisher’s unannounced games line-up for the event.

From that, it would appear that Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has been ported to Nintendo Switch.

While the leak points to an upcoming reveal for Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered on PlayStation 4 and PC, the Nintendo Switch port, which is listed separately, drops the ‘Remastered’ part of that title.

That suggests that the portable home console will receive the original game, rather than the enhanced version that upscales the graphics and improves the game’s performance beyond the hardware’s capabilities.

From developer LEVEL-5, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch was originally released as a PlayStation 3 exclusive back in 2011.

You play as Oliver, who must travel to a fantasy world to save his mother’s life. With his fairy friend Drippy by his side and armed with a copy of the Wizard’s Companion, he will tame familiars, topple monstrous bosses, and overcome the challenges that stand in the way.

Created in collaboration with Studio Ghibli and with music from the celebrated composer Joe Hisaishi, the role-playing game was heaped with praise on release – sitting with an 85 Metascore on Metacritic.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Fall 2019.
