Next wave of Cover Plates for New Nintendo 3DS releasing on April 2nd

Creating your own look through what will soon become an expansive array of Cover Plates has been a large draw for the New Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo of Europe are well aware of this, revealing that eight new Cover Plate sets will be releasing on Thursday 2nd April – appearing at retail a day earlier than normal thanks to Good Friday.

That welcomes solid red, blue and magenta coloured Cover Plates to the collection, as well as a snappy pair with opposing black and white polka dots. Those more Nintendo-related include the Super and 1-UP Mushrooms, a rather delightful wooden Kirby design, and another populated with everyone’s favourite electric mouse, Pikachu.

These are expected to retail between £10.99 – £12.99, as with those that accompanied the New Nintendo 3DS launch earlier in February.
