It would appear that news regarding the next Pokémon entry may be arriving sooner than expected.
Having been queried as to information regarding a Pokémon Black and White sequel during a Q&A session in Tokyo, Game Freak director Junichi Masuda recently urged Japanese fans to watch Pokémon Smash – which is due to be screened across Japan this coming Sunday.
“I can’t answer that yet. Well, I can say to watch the next Pokémon Smash”, Matsuda commented. He then later reiterated on Twitter, “Please watch next week’s Pokémon Smash live or check my Twitter!”
This could easily be related to Japanese magazine CoroCoro’s tease in regards to “surprising” information within their next issue, previously speculated to be distribution details for Keldeo.
However, Masuda’s comments will surely lead to the hope amongst fans that the oft-rumoured Pokémon Gray may at last emerge, presumably set to be Nintendo 3DS bound.
