Niantic has announced that a Nintendo Consoles Event will start in Pikmin Bloom this week, running from 1 May – 31 May 2025.
With the game celebrating its 3.5-year anniversary, you will have the chance to meet new Decor Pikmin wearing parts of iconic Nintendo game consoles from the ’80s and ’90s.
You will also be able to discover Playing Card (Clubs Suit) Decor Pikmin, which are inspired by the classic playing card decks that Nintendo produced.
For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you will receive a random reward. These can be Game Button Cells, which are seedlings that grow into Nintendo Consoles ’80-’95 Decor Pikmin, flower petals or other items. When the Big Flower at the centre of a stage blooms, you are guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.
When the event starts, you will receive missions to collect Game Button Cells. When cleared, you can receive event-specific costumes for your Mii and seedlings for Playing Card (Clubs Suit) Decor Pikmin.
Pikmin Bloom is now available as a free download on the App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android devices.
