We’re less than two weeks away from the Nintendo Switch 2 launch date, now with the rumour that the next Nintendo Direct won’t be that far behind it.
As reported on Famiboards, insider PH Brasil has claimed on a Twitch livestream that the next Nintendo Direct will be broadcast before Friday 13 June. He is unclear whether it is scheduled for the week that the portable home console launches or the week after, but he has stated he does not know what will be shown.
More than enough rumours are swirling around games that may be headed to Nintendo Switch 2. The most recent is that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to the console, but there are others like Xbox Game Studios support in Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator, and ratings having been issued for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero and Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Nintendo Switch 2 will be released at retailers around the world on 5 June 2025, priced at £395.99 in the United Kingdom, €469.99 across Europe, and $449.99 in the United States.
