Next Hyrule Warriors update to be detailed at Tokyo Game Show

Having pledged that they will support Hyrule Warriors with “long-term updates and a large-scale mode expansion,” Koei Tecmo Games have confirmed that they will share details of the Wii U exclusive’s second update at Tokyo Game Show next week.

“We plan to hold a game competition for Hyrule Warriors at Tokyo Game Show on Saturday,” they confirmed on Twitter. “By all means, those of you who are confident in your skills, go check it out! We’ll also have the latest information on the next update, along with a demo!”

The first update, which will be available at launch, will allow you to equip Link with a retro 8-bit sword and shield, introduce a new Challenge Mode, and add a BGM menu that allows you to select which track to play while you leap across the battlefield.

Hyrule Warriors will release exclusively for Wii U across Europe on September 19th, and North America on September 26th.
