New Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call trailer celebrates Famicom roots

Square Enix have sparked a new Legacy of Music video series that delves into the historic Final Fantasy soundscapes, celebrating the past ahead of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call’s arrival in September.

Our first stop is 1987 when Final Fantasy revolutionised the genre in Japan on Famicom, followed by two sequels that established iconic characters and creatures such as chocobos, moogles and irritable airship engineer Cid. While Nobuo Uematsu’s captivating score introduced the recurring Prelude, and the sensationally brilliant Victory theme.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will release exclusively for 3DS across North America on September 16th, and Europe on September 19th.
