New Super Mario Bros. 2 surpasses one million sales mark

New Super Mario Bros. 2 has become the latest game to surpass one million sales across North America.

Sales figures from the NPD Group confirm that from copies sold throughout December the Nintendo 3DS release now sits at 1.45 million.

The handheld itself also celebrated success, selling 1.25 million units during the month to reach an install base of 7.7 million.
