Nintendo of America has revealed that it will soon release a new White and Red Nintendo 2DS with New Super Mario Bros. 2 pre-installed.
This bundle comes shortly after the New Nintendo 2DS XL arrived at retailers across the country, and shows that Nintendo is also keen to continue to push the older model, too.
The Nintendo 2DS is compatible with all Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS games but without support for stereoscopic 3D. Although, New Nintendo 3DS games will not work – such as Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and Fire Emblem Warriors.
It’s an opportunity that they have used to remind everyone that Hey! Pikmin and Miitopia have recently launched, and that Monster Hunter Stories, Metroid: Samus Returns, Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters will see release in the coming months.
The White and Red Nintendo 2DS with New Super Mario Bros. 2 bundle will release across the United States on August 25th, priced at $79.99.
