Dotemu, Lizardcube, and Guard Crush Games have released a new Streets of Rage 4 trailer, marking the long-awaited return of SEGA’s iconic arcade beat ’em up series.
Aged after many years of inaction, Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding reunite to clean up the city that’s become plagued with crime and violence.
With hand-drawn visuals from the team behind Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap remake, the developers have looked to build on the cult classic trilogy’s gameplay “with new mechanics, a fresh story and a gauntlet of dangerous stages with a serious crime problem.”
You can either clean up the city on your own or team up with a friend to beat up the gangsters, in what is promised to be “a skull-bashing, chicken-chomping delight all set to a thumping soundtrack sure to get your blood pumping.”
