Nintendo have promised that they are to expand the range of in-built Nintendo 3DS software, introducing new software later this year and next year as well.
Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata admitted that he had heard complaints that there was little to do with the StreetPass Mii Plaza application once consumers had completed both StreetPass Quest and Puzzle Swap.
Such comments were made in response to an investor who queried the lack of updates for the software. Iwata promised a range of new features were on the way, and that Nintendo were also developing a number of titles that would make use of the Miis that are gathered within the StreetPass Mii Plaza.
He insisted that upcoming software would ensure that Miis that have been gathered by consumers wouldn’t seem a waste.
