Nintendo has shared the opening movie to Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Wii U, also taking the opportunity to announce two new events that will appear in the series for the first time.
These are Rugby Sevens and Rhythmic Gymnastics (Clubs), and will be exclusive to the Wii U version. It was also revealed that every event in the game takes place in locales that have been meticulously modelled after the actual venues that are to be used in Rio this year.
Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games will release exclusively for Wii U in Europe and North America on June 24th.
