The Pokémon Company International has shared a new trailer for Pokémon Legends Z-A, in which you can learn about “The Case of the Sweet Scent Incident.”
“There have been rumours about a mysteriously sweet scent coming from a certain building…” the trailer’s description teases. The trailer will debut at 2pm BST (3pm CEST) today.
Set in Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is underway to shape the city into a place where humans and Pokémon can co-exist, in Pokémon Legends Z-A you will have the chance to befriend either Chikorita, Tepig or Totodile, who will become your first partner Pokémon.
There is a hands-on demo of the game that is playable at gamescom this week, which is now taking place at the Koelnmesse in Cologne until Sunday 24 August 2025.
Pokémon Legends Z-A will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 16 October 2025. Pre-orders have opened on the My Nintendo Store, with the retailer offering physical pre-order bonuses.
