Nintendo of America today announced that Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will launch in North America on April 10th, alongside which a new story-driven trailer for the remake was shared.

Perhaps of more interest, at the tail end of that trailer we can see how Nintendo are looking to differentiate the New Nintendo 3DS exclusive on retailer shelves.

That sees the usual Nintendo 3DS banner switched to the top from the left, now emblazoned with “Only for New Nintendo 3DS” in an effort to dissuade consumers without the revised hardware from purchasing.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D releases exclusively for New Nintendo 3DS in Europe on April 4th, and North America on April 10th.
